Seiko vintage watch

Post by fingers560 »

Hey chaps,
I'm after a bit of information if any one can help me. I've just bought a Seiko quartz watch and the second hand moves twice then stops for second then moves twice again. It does this all the time. The watch keeps good time. I asked the seller and he said that it's normal for Seiko to do this as they use "kenictic". Anyway I left it in the sun, it got warm and ticked normally. What we think?
Cheers.

I think it's a sign the battery is going to wear out soon
